For organisers

Draw it, play it, write it up

From the entry list to the closing report: ClubCourts makes the draw, plans the courts, shows every point live and writes the tournament report at the end.

Six chapters, and you know how a tournament runs on ClubCourts: from the entry list to the report.

Six chapters, in the order a tournament runs:

  1. 01 Setting up the tournament
  2. 02 The draw and the start
  3. 03 The court plan
  4. 04 Scoring on every court
  5. 05 The report
  6. 06 What it costs

Chapter 1 of 6

Setting up the tournament

Private, a club tournament or public: all three are built in the same four-step wizard. Until the start, everything stays a draft.

Chapter 2 of 6

The draw and the start

ClubCourts draws every category, on creation or when registration closes. With the start the draw is locked, and every result moves into the next round by itself.

Groups with a live table

Everyone plays everyone; the table recomputes with every result, the qualifiers sit on the green band.

The knockout draw

Seeds meet late, byes go to the top seeds, the rest is drawn.

Retirement and walkover

Retirements and walkovers move on like any result; several categories, each with its own champion.

Tournament bracket with played rounds and a live semi-final

Chapter 3 of 6

The court plan

The court plan re-plans itself after every result: a quick match pulls the following ones forward, a match under way stays where it is.

Tournament court plan across five courts

Duration from the format

Best of 3 plans 90 minutes, Fast4 30, per category.

The break is per player

The minimum break from the wizard holds for a player even across different courts.

A court keeps its board

A match that has its court is only moved in time, so its scoreboard stays connected.

Chapter 4 of 6

Scoring on every court

Scoring happens on the court, not at the desk: the players score on the board, and the result is in the draw the moment match point is played.

One board per court

ClubScore on a tablet, phone or touch screen, one QR scan; every match on that court is waiting.

Retired or walkover

If someone retires, the board reports it. A match that never started you decide by walkover.

By hand

No device on the court: type the result set by set, the app carries the winner forward.

The report

On request ClubCourts writes the tournament report, in the style of a sports magazine and in your app's language, from the current state.
